Therapy
A non-invasive method of neurophysiological rehabilitation. The body’s self-healing processes are activated by stimulating painful zones with special nails, which gives Klavitherapy a detoxifying and cleansing effect.
It relieves stress-related tension and helps with depression, strengthening the immune system, facial paralysis, disc problems, joint pain, inflammation, nerve damage, headaches and muscle tension.
Biodynamic craniosacral therapy is a holistic, comprehensive form of bodywork and a branch of craniosacral therapy. Scientific knowledge, medical expertise and the therapist’s finely trained perception come together in a unique way. Most German health insurers support it under supplementary cover.
Its roots lie in osteopathy. In the early 20th century, the American physicians Dr. A. T. Still and Dr. W. G. Sutherland studied the rhythmic inherent motion of all bones and tissues. Sutherland traced it to an innate life force he called the “breath of life”, which permeates the whole body and regulates all bodily functions, physical and psychological.
“Recovery can only happen from within.” The biodynamic approach works with the life forces present in every body. The treatment plan therefore depends not on the complaint, but on where and how that life force can move freely. The therapist accompanies these processes with mindful presence and supports self-regulation.
The craniosacral system consists of the skull (cranium), spine, sacrum, membranes (meninges), cerebrospinal fluid, and the nerves and fascia connected to them.
Bobath therapy is an interdisciplinary approach to treating patients with neurological conditions. It is based on neuroplasticity and uses individual treatment strategies for every patient.
Therapy follows each person’s needs and abilities. The aim is to restore, maintain or improve functional abilities to ensure the highest possible quality of life.
Krankengymnastik is the everyday German term for general physiotherapy. It is used for the prevention, treatment and aftercare of many illnesses and complaints, with the aim of improving, maintaining or restoring the body’s mobility and function.
In orthopaedics it helps with back pain, fractures, strains, ligament tears, wear-and-tear conditions, joint complaints or recovery after surgery. It also supports the treatment of neurological disorders after stroke, in Parkinson’s disease or multiple sclerosis, as well as respiratory, circulatory and gastrointestinal conditions.
We offer specialised treatments for the different conditions.
Manual lymphatic drainage is a special massage technique that promotes the drainage of tissue fluid, known as lymph. This fluid plays an important role in the immune system, as it carries waste products and toxins out of the body.
It is often used for lymphoedema, swelling after injuries or surgery, and to support the immune system. It aims to reduce swelling, ease inflammation and support the lymphatic system.
We place particular value on efficient oedema treatment for lymphoedema. The decongestive massage is tailored individually to your needs.
Visceral therapy treats the organs and the connective and fascial tissue surrounding them. The organs are attached by ligaments to the spine, the diaphragm and other structures, and stabilise one another. Their health depends on free circulation, mobility and unrestricted nerve supply.
Posture patterns, scars, inflammation or traumatic experiences such as accidents, surgery and shock can disturb organ function and cause chronic local overload. Conversely, a malfunctioning organ can lead to problems in the musculoskeletal system, nerve irritation, tension or compensating posture patterns.
Using gentle manual techniques, the therapist encourages the organs’ natural mobility and restores free circulation and nerve supply.
A poorly healed scar is more than a cosmetic flaw. It can cause pain, itching, restricted movement, sensitivity to pressure, numbness or swelling. A scar is made of irregularly grown connective tissue. Such adhesions lead to a loss of elasticity, which can also show up in distant areas of the body along the fascial lines.
Scar treatment aims to prevent irregular connective tissue and the loss of elasticity that comes with it. In the early stages, treatment strongly influences how the tissue aligns and therefore mobility; the older a scar, the longer reorganisation takes. Starting early is therefore recommended.
Applications: surgical scars, caesarean scars, burn scars, arthroscopy scars and cuts. Therapy can begin 20 days after surgery or injury at the earliest.
Fascia are connective tissue structures that run throughout the entire body. Targeted training and techniques such as rolling or stretching can release adhesions and improve the elasticity of the fascia. This can help increase mobility, reduce pain and improve performance. Regular fascia training can also help prevent injuries.
Kinesio tape is an innovative and effective method proven in physiotherapy. We use it selectively to speed up recovery and improve physical performance: for muscle tension, joint problems, tendon inflammation and more.
The tape promotes blood and lymph circulation and so supports the natural healing process. Depending on the goal, such as pain relief, joint stabilisation or muscle support, we use different taping techniques. It is comfortable, water-resistant and can be worn for several days.
We also show you how to apply the tape safely at home. The patient is at the centre of what we do: we explain the whole therapy process and answer your questions.
Ultrasound therapy uses high-frequency sound waves to gently warm tissue at depth. This can stimulate circulation and ease tension.
Massage & wellbeing
Classical massage is the most widely used type of massage: a mechanical influence on the skin, the tissue beneath it and the muscles. The body responds to this stimulus. Tension is released and circulation is stimulated.
Positive effects on the immune system, digestion, mobility and breathing are well established. Massage also boosts wellbeing by relieving pain and calming the nerves, thereby counteracting anxiety and depression.
There are several variants, such as connective tissue massage, lymphatic drainage, muscle reflex zone massage, periosteal massage and colon massage.
The power massage lifts your mood and gets you fit quickly. Whether you are tense or simply longing for relaxation, a classic back massage is just right. Skilled hands massage you and soothe your soul at the same time.
Targeted massage for heavily worked muscles. It loosens tension, promotes circulation and supports recovery after training.
Spinal massage after Breuss: light, stretching massage strokes along the spine with St. John’s wort oil bring deep relaxation. A treat for body and mind that revives even frayed nerves.
Enjoy a gentle stroking massage with an aroma oil of your choice and be carried away into the fascinating world of harmonising scents. It perfectly complements the invigorating or relaxing effect of the essential oils.
Back and legs: 30 minutes

In this combination of warmth and massage, your skin is intensely moisturised and revitalised by warm, skin-caring wax enriched with coconut oil and other valuable ingredients. Let yourself be pampered and carried into a world of deep relaxation.
In this massage your whole body is massaged with Spreewald massage oil made from linseed oil and Spreewald herbs. Various massage techniques loosen the muscles, stimulate the metabolism and promote circulation.
This vigorous, circulation-boosting back massage consists of a salt-and-oil scrub, a massage with honey and a massage with St. John’s wort oil. It relieves tension. Skilled hands free your muscles from adhesions and make you fit for everyday life again.
This gentle massage of the face, head and neck, together with precious oils, releases tension and clears your mind for the beautiful things in life. Classic massage techniques promote circulation, improve the skin and relax the muscles. The oils also nourish the skin.
This method stimulates specific points on the feet that, according to traditional beliefs, are linked to particular organs and body systems. It can encourage relaxation, improve circulation and boost general wellbeing. The treatment looks beyond the foot alone and includes the whole body.
In cupping, small glass cups in which a vacuum has been created are placed on the skin. This promotes circulation and is said to help release blockages in the body’s energy flow. It is traditionally used in Chinese medicine and can contribute to relaxation and pain relief.
With soft circular movements, the scrub made with our own brine salt and a nourishing oil gently removes dead skin cells. Skin looks smoother and softer with a silky glow. Especially suited to tired skin, it also boosts circulation.
This oiling with Spreewald care oil made from linseed oil and comfrey regenerates your skin and gives it a radiant, fresh look. The treatment is the perfect finish to a relaxing visit.
